Collage Workshop: Visualizing a Home

“Home – whether we have one or not- is the most important place on earth. Lian-En Lin’s much-needed book “HOME” is an exquisitely produced poetic consideration of space. The evocative collages invite meditation and express deep meanings about the centrality of home and its connectedness and embeddedness into other spaces. “
Comments from the 2021 BRAW jurors.
Deriving from her 2021 BolognaRagazzi Award – Fiction Category winner “HOME”, Taiwanese illustrator Lian-En Lin will deliver a collage-making workshop.
During the 1.5-hour workshop, Lian-En will first briefly share her creative process of “HOME”, focusing on her use of various textures, materials, and mixed media to build up a sense of home and belonging. The participants will then be invited to use collage techniques to express themselves and create images of their very own place of home.
