Croter Hung is a designer and illustrator. In 2004, he embarked on his personal journey of creation and design. His work combines varied design elements with a diverse set of illustration styles and a strong emphasis on the superreal. Croter skillfully blends myth with irony to show the truths of life and society. He lives in Kaohsiung, creating works that exhibit both reality and idealism.

This is a picture book of poetry. The poet Miao Wang uses brief words, like the occasional sound of the wind, to describe quiet partings. Illustrator Croter Hung creates a scene of both whisper and talk, like a film shot through an invisible lens, to provide a noisy, speechless background for this poem. This is a picture book that asks, “What would take you away?” Perhaps, after you read it, you will know more about parting than you thought possible.
