Hsin Yi Foundation was founded by the founder of Yuen Foong Yu Group, Mr. Chuan Ho and his two sons in 1971. The initial goals of the Foundation were aimed to help the poor, disadvantaged people and granting scholarships.In order to encourage local works and nurture local picture book artists, we established Hsin Yi Children’s Picture Book Award, which is the first picture book award in Taiwan. More than 37 titles of award books have been translated into English, Germany, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, etc.

Hsu Chung-Mao has been a journalist for 20 years. He has been at the frontline in covering the Iraq-Palestine conflict, the US’ bombing of Libya, and the civil wars in El Salvador and Nicaragua. He is currently the head of Nueva Vision Co, Ltd , and his published works are branded under the Hsu Chung Mao Studio in Taiwan and Qin Feng Studio in mainland China. In recent years, he has been collecting images of recent world history, to encourage civic education and cultural exploration, and to promote old photos as important first-hand material into recent history.

Little Newton is one of the leading children and science publishing company in Taiwan. Began with publication of “Newton Magazine” in 1983, “Little Newton Magazine” in 1984, and “Little Newton for Kids and Toddlers” in 1990.
